Understanding Team Roles and Permissions in GoodChange
When youβre invited to a team on GoodChange, your access and capabilities depend on the role assigned to you. This guide explains what each role can do so you know how to get the most out of the platform. π― Admin Admins have full access to all areas of the platform. To add a team member to your fundraising campaign: Log in to your GoodChange account and click into your active campaign. In the left-hand navigation, click Campaign, then click Team. In the upper right corner, click Add Team Member. Enter the new team member's email address. Select their permission level: Admin, Editor, Viewer, or Vendor. A campaign on GoodChange is your entire fundraising operation β it's the home for all your fundraisers, events, donor data, and settings. Anyone can create one: candidates, campaign staff, advocacy organizations, consultants, and agencies managing multiple clients. Log in at goodchange.app. Click Add Campaign. Enter your campaign name, primary email, phone number, campaign type, and location. Click Continue. Your campaign is created! Getting started on GoodChange is fast. Before you begin, have your EIN/Tax ID, legal business name, and banking information handy β these will need to match your organizational and banking paperwork exactly. Go to goodchange.app and click Create an Account in the top right corner. Enter your name and email address. Check your email for a verification code and enter it to confirm your account. Once you've created a campaign, you'll need to connect a bank account through Stripe before you can access donations. You can complete this step right away or return to it later from your dashboard β but keep in mind, donations will not be accessible until verification is complete. Marketing links let you track exactly where your donations are coming from β email, text, social media, events, and more. You can create as many as you need. Log in.
