# Understanding Team Roles and Permissions in GoodChange

When you’re invited to a team on GoodChange, your access and capabilities depend on the role assigned to you. This guide explains what each role can do so you know how to get the most out of the platform.

## 🎯 **Admin**
Admins have full access to all areas of the platform. They can:
* Create, edit, and delete campaigns, fundraisers and marketing links
* View and manage all financial records
* Access financial data, payouts, and reports
* Manage team roles and permissions
* Select visible screens for Editors, Viewers, and Creators (Volunteers/Vendors/Bundlers)
* Configure settings (e.g., branding, compliance fields)
* Approve or deny fundraising actions

## ✏️ **Editor**
Editors have strong access for content management and reporting. They can:

* Edit most information on selected screens
* Edit campaign information
* Create and edit fundraisers and marketing links
* View and manage donor records
* Access most reports and analytics
* View (but not edit) financial data
* Submit compliance fields and export data

Editors **cannot**:
* Change team roles/permissions
* Access payout settings

## 👁️ **Viewer**
Viewers have read-only access. They can:
* View selected screens
* View all campaigns, donor records, and reports, financial data, team records
* Review performance metrics

Viewers **cannot**:
* Create, edit, or delete campaigns
* Create, edit, or delete fundraisers
* Create, edit, or delete marketing links
* Edit donor records or financial information
* Change settings or manage team roles

## ✨ **Vendors/Bundlers/Creators**
Creators focus on launching and managing fundraising and marketing activities. They can:
* Create and edit fundraisers
* Create and manage marketing links
* View fundraisers and marketing link performance data
* Add and manage vendors, bundlers, and volunteers
* Access information related to their own campaigns and links
Creators **cannot**:
* Access platform-wide financial data (e.g., payouts, donor financial records)
* Change system-wide settings or permissions
