# Import contributors from a CSV

You can bring supporters you already have into GoodChange from a CSV file. You can also bring in their contribution history. You see a preview first, and nothing is saved until you confirm.

### Import a file

1. Click **Contributors** in the left menu.
2. Click **Import** at the top right. The **Import contributors** page opens.
3. Under **1 · Upload a CSV**, click **Choose file** and pick your CSV.
4. Review the preview. Check that names, emails, and other columns landed in the right place.
5. Confirm the import.

Nothing is written until you review the preview and confirm. If the preview looks wrong, fix the file and choose it again.

### Undo an import

If you imported the wrong file, you can undo the import. Any import can be undone.

### After importing

Imported contributors appear in **Contributors** with everyone else. If someone was already in GoodChange, a banner on the Contributors list shows possible duplicates to review. See "Merge duplicate contributors".
