Creating a Donation

Hi & Welcome to GoodChange! We built GoodChange with donors like you in mind. We want this to be an easy experience for you and if it's ever not - please reach out and we'll help!


Most donors will get here via a link that a campaign has sent out, but some people like to explore the different fundraisers on the site and give when inspired. However you got here, the donation process is the same:


  1. Go to www.goodchange.app/fundraisers


  1. Click on any fundraisers that look interesting to you, and you'll land on a landing page. See "Image 1" below.


  1. Click donate, and you'll be taken to a form to choose how you'd like to give, and to fill out the required information for us to process your donation. See "Image 2" below.


  1. Want to donate as a guest? No problem. That's the default! Just fill out your information, press donate, then confirm a valid email for receipts - and you'll be done.


Please note: Every field is required for reporting purposes. Please fill out each field and you'll have no problem!


  1. Want to do a little extra? You can cover the processing fee for your donation and ensure 100% of your generous gift goes where it's most needed. Simply check off to indicate your wish to cover the fee! See "Image 3" below.


  1. Once you've filled out all of your information, you can choose if you want your donation to be anonymous on the GoodChange site. See "Image 4" below.


IMPORTANT: If donating to a candidate or PAC, your donations will be reported to the appropriate governing body. The "anonymous" feature ONLY applies to your appearance as a specific campaign's donor.


  1. Click donate, and then you can leave a message to cheer on your fundraiser! See "Image 5" below
