Connecting Zapier

Zapier lets you send GoodChange events to thousands of other apps — email platforms, spreadsheets, CRMs, Slack, you name it. Use it when a direct integration doesn't exist or when you want to trigger custom workflows on new donations.


To connect Zapier:


  1. Log in to Zapier and create a new Zap.
  2. For the trigger app, search for GoodChange.
  3. Choose the trigger event you want (for example, New Donation).
  4. When prompted, sign in to your GoodChange account and authorize Zapier.
  5. Pick the campaign and event to listen to, then click Test Trigger to pull a sample record.
  6. Build the rest of your Zap — the action app and what happens when a new donation comes in.


Common use cases:

  • Append new donations to a Google Sheet
  • Post new donations to a Slack channel
  • Add new donors to Mailchimp or Constant Contact
  • Trigger a thank-you text via Twilio
