# Connecting DonorPerfect

GoodChange integrates with DonorPerfect to sync donors and payments directly into your donor database.

**To connect DonorPerfect:**

1. Log in and click into your active campaign.
2. In the left-hand navigation, click **D**eveloper, and then click **"External Integrations"**
3. Find **DonorPerfect** and click **Connect**.
4. Enter your DonorPerfect API credentials (login token and API key). You can generate these from the DonorPerfect settings area.
5. Click **Save**.

**What gets synced:**
* Donors are searched by email — if found, donations are added to the existing record; if not, a new donor is created
* Each donation creates a payment record linked to the donor
* Campaign info appears in the payment notes
